    Server Racks

Hi, I'm running at DireWolf20 1.10.2 v1.12.1 (OC-1.10.2-1.6.2.7) pack and currently I'm expanding my production of energy using BRGC created by @XyFreak As of now I made to more turbines that one T3 PC (T3 CPU) can handle. That got me to servers. As I created 1st Rack and put two servers in. Both with 1x T3 CPU, 1x T3,5 RAM, 1x T3 DiskDrive + one of them have Network Card and T3 GPU. As far as I could go I tried one rack wit or without one of the components, getting OpenOS on both or not. During my test I wasn't able to get server up and running to detect all components as it was telling me there is there is to many components connected. At the same time, I cannot say that I was able to connect Remote Terminal to any of racks. I was getting some type of success when I inserted Terminal Server but not quite what I was hoping for. Another problem I had was with program itself where I hope I will get some word from @XyFreak. After connecting one of the racks with limited number of turbines, only thing I was able to see was what you can see at attached image. Although program was running I was not able to get correct GUI. Thanks for any answers
  4. Okay so I'd like to start by saying i do have some advanced knowledge on computers and servers, so any advice is welcome. I Have 3 computers in the overworld. One is connected to a 3d printer and hologram projector and is almost always off. Another is controlling a draconic reactor and is on 24/7. The third hasn't been used for a while and is used to control 3 bigreactors and 24 turbines. When i try to create a new computer or restart one of the existing, nothing happens for a few seconds, then the power indicator will turn on, then nothing, no startup beep or anything, just freezes at that point. My tps is above 20 and my server's resource usage is below half of what it has (7GB of RAM and 8 cpu cores) I haven't changed anything on the server so that can't be a cause of the problem, also everything was working perfectly about a week or so ago. Now here's the weird part: I have 4 other draconic reactors, each in their own ME spatial dimension to avoid boom. All 4 are controlled by a computer and they work with no problems. The issue only occurs in the overworld. I've tried making computers in numerous over dimensions and they work perfectly fine. Anyone have even the slightest idea what's going on?
  5. Hello everyone. I have a problem with the server rack the commands mentioned in the title of the thread. I have to send a message from the server to a computer.....but the problem is that he receives messages from other computers but not send them. I tried to use programs and single commands but still not work. I wrote this on the server: component.modem.broadcast("111, "test") or component.modem.send({computer address}, 111, "test") And this on the computer: =event.pull("modem_message") I used the relay to realize that it is the server doesn't send messages because it doesn't blink. (Not sure I wrote correctly, I'm not english.) Every method I try doesn't work. Nobody else has had this problem? Can someone help me?
  6. I tried to upload the log the Pastebin, but there text size limit held me back. Here is a file link (Uploaded to my site): http://gaminglem.ddns.net/log http://gaminglem.ddns.net/log2 The first time I create a world on my Minecraft server, I can join fine. But the moment I open an OpenComputers Tier 3 Computer Case, everything goes wrong. The server immediately crashes, and from that point forward, crashes on startup. I have looked for others having this error, but I cannot find anything relevant to my problem. The log reapetedly references BuildCraft, so I posted it there (https://github.com/BuildCraft/BuildCraft/issues/3457) But they referred me here. Anyone have a solution? P.S. I believe it is an issue from BuildCraft trying to read the amount of power in the computer case, but I could be wrong. EDIT (46 Hours Later): No one has a solution?

    TCP Server

Had some trouble getting a TCP connection between an OpenComputers program (client) and a java program (server), so I thought I could sare this. Here is the lua program: --VARIABLES local event = require("event") local net = require("internet") local term = require("term") local os = require("os") local running = true local con = net.open("192.168.1.100", 6667) --FUNCTIONS function sendString(s) con:write(s) print('Sending ' .. string.sub(s,1,s:len()-1) .. ' to server...') con:flush() end function reciveString() local s = con:read() print('Recived ' .. s .. ' from server...') con:flush() end --MAIN if con then print('Connected to the server!') end while running do local s = term.read() sendString(s) reciveString() os.sleep(0) end And here the java code: import java.io.*; import java.net.*; class TCPServer { public static void main(String argv[]) throws Exception { String clientSentence; String capitalizedSentence; ServerSocket welcomeSocket = new ServerSocket(6667); Socket connectionSocket = welcomeSocket.accept(); while (true) { if (!connectionSocket.isConnected()) { connectionSocket = welcomeSocket.accept(); } else { System.out.println("Connected to client"); BufferedReader inFromClient = new BufferedReader( new InputStreamReader(connectionSocket.getInputStream())); clientSentence = inFromClient.readLine(); System.out.println("Received: " + clientSentence); capitalizedSentence = clientSentence.toUpperCase() + "\n"; DataOutputStream outToClient = new DataOutputStream(connectionSocket.getOutputStream()); System.out.println("Sending: " + capitalizedSentence); outToClient.writeBytes(capitalizedSentence); } } } } Also make sure you have TCPEnabled on the config file and if your tcp server is in the same machine as the minecraft serve remove form the ip blacklist your networks ip. Hope this helps someone
  8. So, there is essentially no information to be found about how the new server UI works (not that I can find); and it is considerably different from the functionality of the old UI. Would anyone care to elaborate? I'm running the latest version on minecraft 1.7.10. Also while I'm here, there's a problem with using the remote terminal for me: I have the terminal server in the rack, as well as a server with a gpu, cpu, memory, wireless network card, openOS installed etc.. When I start the server, nothing appears on the remote terminal, the terminal is linked as the blue light indicates on the terminal server, and I've tried shift-clicking the server I wanted to pair to... the screen of the remote terminal is just blank. The server is definitely starting (as apposed to failing) as well, the light is green and the noises indicate it has gone through the loading sequence.

  10. General Information GATES is a modpack about the exploration of new worlds and dimensions. To help you with this, mods are added that give you a wide range of weapons and technology. This will help you conquer the harsh and unforgiving worlds you will encounter. In the stargate series, some aliens were very technologically advanced, the tools they used sometimes seemed magical. To simuate this, there are a number of technological mods and a few magic mods in this modpack. The best and most fun way to play GATES is on its official server. A vast stargate network has been set-up with stargates built on numerous dimensions and planets. Players are able to explore these new places through their own stargate, or use the public stargate located in the spawn area. Connecting to the GATES server is super easy! With the server IP pre-programmed into the modpack and a special button on the main menu to directly connect to the server, you can quickly join and experience the modpack and server in full glory! Notable Mods Left-to-right: Lanteacraft, Pam's Harvestcraft, Thermal Expansion, Flan's mod, Thaumcraft, Opencomputers. Links This modpack uses the Technic Launcher for distribution. 11. Hello I use on my server and client: "OpenComputers-MC1.8-1.5.3.8-universal.jar" "forge-1.8-11.14.1.1334-universal.jar" or "forge-1.8-11.14.1.1339-universal.jar" In my program does not perform the function of "robot.turn ... ()". It does not work only on the server, if you test a program on a local world is OK. My program: local r = require("robot") local slot = 1 local xmax = 11 local ymax = 11 local x = 1 local y = 1 local turn = 0 r.select(slot) while true do if r.count(slot) == 0 then slot = slot + 1 if slot == r.inventorySize() + 1 then print("Koniec materiału!") os.exit() end r.select(slot) else if r.placeDown() == nil then print("Nie mogłem postawić bloku!") os.exit() end x = x + 1 if x == xmax + 1 then x = 1 y = y + 1 if y == ymax + 1 then print("Koniec pracy :)") os.exit() end if turn == 0 then r.turnRight() r.forward() r.turnRight() else r.turnLeft() r.forward() r.turnLeft() end turn = turn + 1 if turn == 2 then turn = 0 end else if r.forward() == nil then print("Nieusunięta przeszkoda!") os.exit() end end end end Please help. (sorry for my english)
