throwaway 0
Synopsis This program allows users to automatically extract, recharge, and insert a railgun from Immersive Engineering from and to their inventories though theoretically this program would work with any item that open computers can read charge data from. Due to the necessary transferring of items this program can only be run on robots with the inventory, inventory controller, and database upgrades. Additionally this program requires Open Computers, Immersive Engineering, Thermal Expansion and Extra Utilities 2. Set up Before the program can be downloaded and executed the user must set up the following configuration: As seen in the picture a player chest from Extra Utilities 2 must be placed above the robot and in front of the robot a energetic infuser must be placed. Additionally both the player chest and energetic infuser must be configured to the following specifications: The energetic infuser should be facing away from the robot with the following port configuration: The player chest should have all slots set to all access. Configuration and Execution The program can be downloaded from https://pastebin.com/bqHumn3f After downloading the program executing it will automatically prompt the user to configure the program, requesting the number of the hotbar slot the user plans to place the railgun and then asking the user to place the uncharged railgun in that slot. After this configuration the program will automatically execute removing the railgun from the users inventory, charging it, and placing it back in the users inventory. At this point the program will continue to remove, charge, and insert the railgun anytime it runs out of RF without any input from the user. Restarting the program will prompt the user for the same configuration allowing for alteration of the slot or railgun the user desires. Notes Adding extra parts to the railgun or changing shaders will require a restart and reconfiguration of the program. This example uses the energetic infuser from Thermal Expansion but it is theoretically possible to use other charging machines though depending on their behavior alteration to the program may be necessary. While unsupported, this program can theoretically serve to remove, charge, and import any RF item. The configuration for the player chest does not technically require all slots to be set to all access but it is unknown if this will effect the functionality of the program.
