Problem with adapter using inventory controller upgrade

I put inventory controller upgrade in adapter and placed chest right near it. Then i tried to call method component.inventory_controller.getStackInSlot (side, 1) but it responses to me nil "no_inventory" with any side i give it as first argument. Can somebody help me pls? Sorry for bad english if it is.

That is very strange, as this should work. Try this, if this doesn't work, something must be wrong.

local component = require'component'

for i = 0, 5 do
  print(component.inventory_controller.getStackInSlot(i, 1))
end

Unfortunately it does not work too. I guess it's a bug(

Ok, then it might be a bug, but I can't think of a reason why.

Are you working with a computer or a robot? Could you send a screen shot of your setup? We might find a solution.

See this comment on the issue you opened. It references a few issues that describe similar problems. You can't really say "I guess it's a bug" if you haven't tried solving the problem—without the assumption it's indeed a bug.
