Disabling the need for power?

Question

Hello!

I discovered this mod not long ago and I'd love to try it out.

I don't really (like to) use any mods that generate power and I saw you could turn off the need for energy/power in the config file.

Can someone help me with which things I need to config and to what values they need to be set?

I was expecting there was a simple true/false I could change but this is kind of confusing to me. Am I missing something?

This would also be kind of a suggestion to add a simple true/false config in there.

Thanks!

(Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask for this)

How to edit the code? I tried it, I unpacked the files, changed the line, but now I don't know how to change it back to a .jar file, and google can't help me either. But I can't edit the .jar file without unzipping it. Could you guys tell me how it works? Thanks

That's not how you should edit a mod's code. Unless you fluently speak Java bytecode you shouldn't be editing the jar file, there's nothing you could understand or change in a useful way. In any case there's no need to modify the mod's code. Everything you need to change is in the config files, which are by default at .minecraft/config/opencomputers.

Ooh, thanks, that worked indeed
