Well, I'd like to check the code, but my abysmal knowledge of lua aside, I'll get attempt to index field  'stdin' (a nil value): every time I try edit Installer.

You can also see, that two lines after <machine:4> are always different.

Well, I tried the installer. Got instant "Too long without yielding" error when Installer started to load InstallData into memory. I have T3 Rack with Max tier components, including 4 3.5 RAM sticks.

FIrst one, I'm not sure why to use APU in combo with Graphics card considering APU is CPU+Graphics, and APU itself is made from components of lower tier than APU you'll get from them.

About those mem cards, yeah, I had exactly the same problem as you. MineOS is such memory hog on itself that most of apps can't be safely run on it.

My advice stays. Use T3 server full of 3.5 mem sticks, that should keep memory load under 75% no matter program you're running.

Well, you need to specify what exactly is happening, because "does not run correctly" won't help much.

First advice I can give though, is to forgo case and go directly for T3 server rack full of 3.5 RAM. And even with that, you can expect problems with things like geolyzer program.

Can't install StattenOS on my PC. Every time I try to run Installer, I get "Unrecoverable error edit:24: attempt to index a nil value (field 'stderr')

Files are in root, CPU is set to Lua 5.3.

The install should be done on a floppy drive from the looks of things, as well as make sure you have all the files form the github installed.

Well:

As computer, I use T3 with maxed-out components, Lua 5.3, T3 monitor and raid.

As for installation, I just copied all files into 10min pastebin because I can pastebin but don't know how to github to OC computer, pastebined them to /home and tried to run autorun.lua

When I try to run autorun.lua, it throws error "attempt to call a nil value (global 'getYesNo')

Well, this program is made for BigReactors/Extreme Reactors and they have opencomputers ports to connect you just have to add to multiblock. But considering you are mentioning kinetic generator, you are probably trying to use it with another mod. This program is BR/ER only.

I get crash every time installer tries to download ECSAPI.lua

So, I found strange bug on 1.10.2. When I try to start radio using iRadio, it kinda... locks itself. I can't even press start button. I have to break machine, place it again, and then it starts to work, and cooperate with iRadio in sense you can change stations on it.

I'm still sitting on 1.7.10 because when I mixed myself 1.10 pack (with even less mods than my 1.7.10 pack) it was laggy. Like "freeze every other second" laggy.

OK, this OS worths watching. Your system sounds interesting and I'm really looking forward you adding other modules.

Just out of curiosity, how much can Statten "talk" with wireless network cards? I tried it (I usually use wireless cards in tablets), and although I was able to distribute update, ping was not able to see tablet.

EDIT: Also, could be possible to add autocomplete feature like in OpenOS?

EDIT3: To first question, I have kinda mixed results when it comes to wireless cards. I can do sys-update over it, and control GConts, but I can't do Gate database modifications, those can be done only over linked card. Also, ping often detects nothing for some reason.

PS. If anyone wonders, why I'm throwing literal tide of edits, it's because I'm finding questions as I play with StattenOS, and most forums hates multiposting.

I have problem with sending printjobs. Every time I try to print, I'll get "connection timeout" error.

Connection between computers works fine, it tested it with ServerFS.

EDIT: I think my printserver is not starting properly, if even. When I checked log it ignored repeated printserver.lua restarts. Also, there isn't any reaction when printer is out of paper/print (tested by taking all these out). Also, there is no reaction to missing printer, until I try to start program manually, which throws error.

EDIT 2: Tested on 1.10.2 and problem still persists.

I asked because some time ago I found program on openprograms which allowed to use OC glassess as projector for ore scanner. I thought that with tablet, it could be mobile.

Could it be possible to make version of bridge compatible with tablets?

Could it be possible to implement command which returns robot to starting position after finishing it's excavation? I tried program and I saw that if you'll try to dig deep holes, you'l be needing to get down to pick it up, which could be problem.

Can I ask, if can be door system flashed onto EEPROM and if yes, how? I'd like to throw door control module into microcontrollers.

So, is Hel Repository still active? Because when I try to go to HR webpage, it just throws "failed to fetch packages" on me.

It can't even find manifest for hpm package when I try to update.
